The VEB 404-CF 4-Channel Network Audio Insert and its enhanced variant, the VEB 404M-CF (BGM version), are designed to integrate multiple analogue audio sources into a networked audio system.
Each unit supports four stereo analogue input channels and simultaneously encodes and streams all channels over a standard Ethernet (LAN) connection. The VEB 404-CF is suitable for a wide range of multi-channel audio applications, while the VEB 404M-CF is specifically optimised for high-quality background music (BGM) distribution, making it ideal for ambient audio environments.
The system enables streaming from various sources, including CD players, FM tuners, and digital music platforms, to any designated zone within the network.
Centralised configuration and audio routing are managed via the VEB 12-IPC-CF and VEB 14-IPC-CF Network System Managers, allowing remote control and flexible routing to meet specific project requirements.
These units provide a scalable and efficient solution for multi-channel audio integration, with the VEB 404M-CF delivering enhanced performance for premium background music applications.
